![]() MELBOURNE REVIEW / SYDNEY PHOTOS: Welsh post-hardcore band FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND were the next victim of the left-stage sound curse, however compared with many other bands who graced the left-stage, the ten years of experience FFAF have under their belt meant that they were able to soldier on and still provide an energetic and highly entertaining set which allowed older audience members such as myself to reminisce of younger days when this band was the soundtrack to our lives. With five albums and multiple EP’s in their back-catalogue, the band did a great job covering all of the crowd's favourites - including tracks such as ‘Juneau’, ‘Roses For The Dead’, ‘Escape Artists Never Die’ and ‘Damned If You Do, Dead If You Don’t’, and they certainly proved that age and experience is a great asset to have, especially when faced with less than ideal circumstances. ![]() Best song: ‘Escape Artists Never Die’, purely for the reminiscing. ♥ Coup De Main hereby awards Funeral For A Friend with a Counter Revolution... "Blast From The Past" award. Check out more live Funeral For A Friend photos below... or click HERE to view the full album. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
