Summer Pick #2 - ELIZA DOOLITTLE
One of my favourite things about Summer, is roadtrips! And what would a roadtrip be without some fun, new music? So I present to you, the first of my picks for Summer. All up and coming artists - so it would make me really happy if you had a listen.  NEON TREES HOME: Provo, Utah - U.S.A. I SAY: I've had my eye on Neon Trees for a while now... I have a really good feeling about this band. Their debut album is released in the 'States on March 23rd - so hopefully we see heaps more of them this coming year! They nicely fit the gap between Rooney and The Bravery methinks - but with super savvy powerpop sensibilities. THEY SAY: “Music is a sacred act of communion for me, offering hope and love. That’s the heart of this band. We just want to share that feeling we got from the bands that inspired us, and then we want to pass the torch.” YOU WILL LIKE, IF YOU LIKE: Rooney, The Bravery, Hot Hot Heat, Phantom Planet, old-school OK Go... and girl drummers!
