 CHLOE CHAIDEZ. Remember that name. Fifteen-year old Chaidez is the front-girl of up and coming Los Angeles-based band KITTEN. The band have been in the studio recording an EP and the first portion of their debut album with producer Joe Chicarelli (The White Stripes, Counting Crows, U2, The Shins, Radiohead, Elton John, My Morning Jacket, The Strokes) - and if the demos currently floating around on the Internet are anything to go by, fans of the sounds of Emily Haines and Metric, are in for a real treat. Chaidez herself, has said that she draws inspiration from the likes of Karen O, Bright Eyes, Cat Power, and the Smiths.
