Jenny & Johnny - 'I'm Having Fun Now'

In 2005, Conor Oberst introduced Jenny Lewis (of Rilo Kiley) to Jonathan Rice. Only the couple know if it was love at first sight - but at the very least - creative sparks must have flown, as Lewis wound up contributing to Rice's debut album and Rice played on recordings for Lewis' debut solo album. The following year, Johnny joined Jenny for her Rabbit Fur Coat solo album world tour - and since then he has played at every Jenny Lewis show of her solo career, thus far.

Fast forward to the present day - and a joint Elvis Costello collaboration later - meet the officially formed JENNY & JOHNNY and the sing-song-y banter of their debut album. At face value, comparisons to She & Him are inevitable... but Jenny & Johnny's real-life romance and shared back and forth vocals breathe a much tougher chemical-wordplay into the songs of 'I'm Having Fun Now'.

MUST-LISTEN: 'Big Wave', 'Scissor Runner', 'Straight Edge Of The Blade'.
