#24. A DAY TO REMEMBER - What Separates Me From You ![]() A DAY TO REMEMBER have had a few years to remember, with their last album ‘Homesick’ catapulting the Florida quintet from cult-status to full on popularity. However with popularity comes haters, and ‘What Separates Me From You’ has certainly had its fair share of haters - including me, upon first listen. But give it a chance, and you’ll find A Day To Remember have come back as strong as ever. First single ‘All I Want’ is crazy catchy, contrasted with album opener ‘Sticks & Bricks’ which retains the heavier aspects of their back-catalogue. Peaking at a commendable Number 11 on the U.S. Billboard charts, A Day To Remember may not have offered anything too different from their norm, but hey - that’s not always a bad thing. ‘What Separates Me From You’ is a fun and furious album, best listened to loud! MUST-LISTEN: 'All I Want', 'Sticks & Bricks', 'You Be Tails, I’ll Be Sonic', 'It’s Complicated'. YOU WILL LIKE, IF YOU LIKE: Four Year Strong, New Found Glory, Veara, We Came As Romans, Silverstein... and reading Alternative Press magazine MUST-WATCH: A Day To Remember performing an acoustic version of 'All I Want' live... ![]() |
