#22. BEST COAST - Crazy For You  You don't have to be a weed smoking, cat-loving, twenty-something Californian bred girl, to appreciate the wonderful lo-fi simplicity of BEST COAST. Frontwoman Bethany Cosentino's lyrics sound off like a Taylor Swift album gone wild - and perhaps that's why I like the 'Crazy For You' album so much. Exhibit A: Best Coast's 'Boyfriend' vs. Taylor Swift's 'You Belong With Me'. DEAR FRIEND-THAT-IS-A-BOY, WHY CAN'T YOU SEE? YOU BELONG WITH ME. "The other girl is not like me / She's prettier and skinnier / She has a college degree / I dropped out when I was seventeen / If only I could get her out of the picture / Then he would know how much I want him..." Exhibit B: Best Coast's 'Bratty B' vs. Taylor Swift's 'Back To December'. Taylor Lautner could probably also relate to this song.
