#20. EMAROSA - Emarosa ![]() There’s something about Jonny Craig’s voice, that makes my heart melt a little each time I hear it... and his performance on EMAROSA's self-titled release is no different. Kicking off with the explosive 'A Toast To The Future Kids!', the slow start allows Craig’s golden voice to shine - proving this man has an incredible range and tone to his voice which surpasses most of his genre-mates. However, Jonny Craig is not the only shining star on Emarosa's sophomore release. The improvement in musicality and song structure is evident, allowing the music and the vocals to gel together seamlessly, rather than one overpowering the other. The intricate guitar work is especially impressive, and showcase a band which have grown together on the road and solidified their place in the scene. MUST-LISTEN: 'A Toast To The Future Kids!', 'Pretend.Relive.Regret.', 'The Weight Of Love Blinds Eyes', 'The Game Played Right'. YOU WILL LIKE, IF YOU LIKE: Pierce The Veil, Isles & Glaciers, Chiodos, Saosin, Circa Survive... and men with mullets with the voice of angels. MUST-WATCH: Emarosa perform an acoustic version of 'A Toast To The Future Kids!' live... ![]() |
