![]() You're going to want to make yourself three hours and forty-one minutes worth of snacks and drinks, because once you start watching LCD SOUNDSYSTEM's very last show ever, you are not going to be wanting any kind of interruption. LCD Soundsystem kicked off the three and a half hour set at New York's Madison Square Garden with 'Dance Yrself Clean' (from their last album 'This Is Happening') as they did at Big Day Out in Auckland earlier this year, and closed with James Murphy getting slightly emotional during the final song, 'New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down'. Other highlights of the set include guest appearances from Reggie Watts, (opening band) Liquid Liquid, and Arcade Fire's Régine Chassagne and Butler brothers (during 'North American Scum'). Watch the entire Pitchfork web-broadcast of LCD Soundsystem's very last show below... ![]() |
