![]() We like LEONA LEWIS. Not only did she publicly reject a $1 million deal to open a Harrods sale due to the department store continuing to stock animal fur, Lewis doesn't care that the British tabloids expect her to be dating a superstar. Lewis remains happily together with her electrician boyfriend, whom she's known since she was roughly ten years old. She told the Guardian; "I find it very offensive. It's offensive to him—implying he's not good enough for you anymore—but also to you, saying you're so shallow you'd dump him when you became successful. It's like, seriously? This is real life, it isn't make-believe. For people to think that you should leave someone because, all of a sudden, you're a singer and you have opportunities. I feel very sorry for them. It does make me angry. Because he's a great person. And it doesn't matter what you do in life, what your job is, where you come from. None of that matters to me, what matters is who you are as a person—nothing else." The new Leona Lewis album 'Echo' is in-stores in New Zealand on November 16th. Lewis worked with Ryan Tedder (of OneRepublic), Justin Timberlake, Max Martin and John Shanks on what is expected to be a "more guitar-driven" album than her debut; 'Spirit'. Fashion icon Vivienne Westwood personally designed gold lamé and white satin gowns for Lewis to flaunt in the album artwork of 'Echo'. Each gown is fitted around a boned leotard with a crinoline-style skirt. Watch the music video for first single 'Happy' below... |
