ELLIE GOULDING is perhaps following in the footsteps of FLORENCE + THE MACHINE, as winner of this years Critics Choice Award at the 2010 Brit Awards. Goulding's debut album 'Lights' is yet to be released in the UK on March 1st - but the twenty-three year old's 2010 has already been shaping up pretty - with Goulding having trumped the likes of MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS last month, to place first in the BBC Sound Of 2010 poll. 2009's Sound Of poll top ten included Little Boots, White Lies, Florence + The Machine, La Roux, Lady Gaga, VV Brown and Passion Pit - so Goulding's in competent company.
