![]() A clip of a new KATY PERRY song - 'In Between' - has leaked. The track will apparently feature on Perry's upcoming new album. Other possible tracks rumoured to be included are; 'Dressing Up', 'Not Like The Movies', 'Hummingbird Heartbeat', 'Firework', 'The One That Got Away', 'Circle The Drain', '2 Drunk 2 F**k' and 'Wannabe'. The first single from the new album has been confirmed as 'California Gurls' and features rapper Snoop Dogg. The music video has already been filmed and the single is expected to be sent to U.S. radio on May 25, 2010. Max Martin and Dr. Luke - the same team behind 'Hot N Cold' and 'I Kissed A Girl' - teamed up with Perry to create the song. Perry told Rolling Stone magazine during a photo shoot in April, that 'California Gurls' was written as a response to Jay-Z's 'Empire State Of Mind'. Perry said that - "It’s so great that 'Empire State Of Mind' is huge and that everyone has the New York song, but what the f**k? What about L.A.? What about California? It's been a minute since we had a California song and especially from a girl's perspective. We took the references of Prince, which is always a great reference, and some of the '90s, almost house music references". Katy will make her film debut in 2011, starring in 'The Smurfs' as Smurfette, alongside Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Winters, Alan Cumming and George Lopez.
