 Californian favourites ROONEY - now as a four-piece - have returned with their third full-length album, 'Eureka'. The band are also independent of record labels now, being no longer signed to Geffen Records. 'Eureka' will be released on June 8, 2010 - in the States - through California Dreaming Records (Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group). Although former bassist Matthew Winter announced his departure back in February of this year, 'Eureka' will feature his final studio recordings for Rooney. Rooney are one of my all-time favourite bands. There's just something about that Robert Schwartzman... Former 'Princess Diaries' love-interests aside though, there also was that episode, of 'The O.C.'... and most importantly, their fun-tastic hits from 2003's self-titled album and 2007's 'Calling The World' follow-up.
