 ANIMAL COLLECTIVE's 'ODDSAC' DVD is available for pre-order now! If you pre-order today, you will also get $5 off the retail price and receive an extra bonus of a free exclusive poster. The release date of the DVD is July 27th. The DVD package includes the 'ODDSAC' 55-minute film (with new songs and score by Animal Collective) and a 40-page hardcover art book in a slipcover case. The DVD is formatted in Region 0, so it will play universally on all DVD players. "ODDSAC is a feature film collaboration between the band Animal Collective and filmmaker Danny Perez, a dense and surreal layering of audio and visual elements that eschews conventional narrative to create a visceral viewing experience. ODDSAC represents a new synthesis of music and film, a "visual album" whose songs will not be released in any other form. It features an original score with new songs from the band and complex digital manipulation by Perez.
