![]() If you love The Supremes-y half of Kate Nash's latest album 'My Best Friend Is You' - read our review HERE - then THE LIKE's brand new album 'Release Me', is your next perfect extension of 60's girl-group revival-vibes. Produced by Mark Ronson, tracks such as 'Walk Of Shame', 'Catch Me If You Can', 'Narcissus In A Red Dress' and 'I Can See It In Your Eyes', showcase all the canny stylings of their debut album, now with the added bonus of sweet, sweet organ sounds. There's no NZ release date as of yet for 'Release Me', but we can hopefully expect the new album locally come the end of July, or early August. For those making the trek across the ditch to The Strokes' Sydney and Melbourne Splendour In The Grass festival side-shows, I am madly jealous that you will also be treated to The Like, as the support band for both dates.
