![]() Earlier today, PATRICK STUMP of Fall Out Boy took to his Twitter (personally, for the very first time) - "This is the first tweet I'm typing myself. Gonna clear up some misinformation." - to clear up some rumours. "Matt Rubano is playing in my band, he's a genius, but he is not playing on the record. Mike Fasano isn't playing on the record either, he's my drum tech, and a damn good one. I'm still playing everything on the record and it's almost done. Outsider folk" was a mis-quote. I said "Outsider funk," but it's not even really that anymore. It's basically an r&b album but as they say "Talking about music is like dancing about architecture..." You'll have to just hear yourself. I'm going to disappear back to the studio but stay tuned...patience will be rewarded. I guarantee no Chinese Democracy." ...and proving that he is ever still the sweetheart he's always been, Patrick ended by tweeting links to the musical projects of other Fall Out Boy members: "In the meantime check out www.myspace.com/thedamnedthings, www.blackcardsmusic.com, www.myspace.com/burningempiresmilwaukee." Patrick Stump's forthcoming debut solo album is probably my most anticipated album of 2010. As we wait for Stump to hurry up and finish recording, you can watch the entirety of Patrick's Live From Daryl's House set, performing with none other than Daryl Hall (of HALL & OATES). Can you think of a more perfect combination? ![]() |
