My Chemical Romance

Despite the sensationalist quips of the UK's Sunday Times, there are a few paragraphs worth reading that I've typed up for you MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE fans below - thanks to the twitpics of HeatherG_!

"I'm somebody that loves to marry art to commerce, I think they should actually exist together. And that doesn't mean money, but art and distribution, they should be allied. And if you can do that and retain your personal integrity, then it's fine. As an artist, if you want to keep hold of the real stuff, you have to figure out how to duck and dive all the other things. The truth is, it's easy to stay away from parties. You need to have to actually try to end up there. The really hard part is remembering how to be brutal with your music - and with zero apology, or zero cred-chasing."
- GERARD WAY

"I want to go on an adventure this time, because I didn't with the last record. I went on this misery tour. I didn't raise enough questions on Black Parade, I just set up a lot of bleakness and misinterpretation. And this record could be our last big adventure - that's why we had to make it again, that's why we spent the money, that's why we're going to spend more on how it looks than we've ever spent." - GERARD WAY
