![]() Poor ONE DIRECTION! The band have had to cancel all plans of inviting fans on-stage to be serenaded during their current tour, due to hate messages directed online at winners. According to 'The Mirror' three fans were chosen at random after an invitation on Twitter and were taken to their own dressing room at the Watford tour date and allowed to pick a dress and tiara for a candle-lit scene as part of the show. One of the winners Hollie Gilbert told 'The Mirror' that: "I was partnered with Harry. Then they sang to us wearing tuxes. Harry was really sweet. The jealous messages began almost straight away. I think it’s because I was partnered with Harry, the most popular member. I’ve tried to ignore the messages. But it’s a shame as the band have now cut the whole fan interaction scene from the routine." A spokesperson for the band has said: "The girls were brought up on stage for a warm-up show at the beginning of the tour as a try. It didn’t work out from a practical point of view." ![]() [ Source: The Mirror ] |
