I am an 80's kid and I am loving the sounds of Japanese electro / indie / club outfit 80kidz a lot as of late.

Despite the name, there's 3 members that make up this DJ unit. Ali, Mayu and Jun. They formed in Tokyo back in 2007 and released their first limited bootleg mix cd in the same year.

Fast track to 2009, they've received requests to do official remixes of songs from big names like Danger, CSS, Daft Punk, MGMT and Black Kids to name a few.

They've also performed alongside Justice and Hot Chip not to mention all round the world.

Although these guys are reknown for their remixes, their own material is just as brill. The 80kidz's debut album "This Is My Shit" is available on iTunes - here's a track from it called "She feat. David Cox (AutoKratz)". A dance floor must!
