 It’s official. The gods of the 90’s have smiled upon us once again. Alternative metal’s favourite Frankensteins FAITH NO MORE have reformed after 11 long years, boasting the same line-up that famously called it a day in April 1998. “Back, God forbid, into the monkey cage!!!” boasts the band’s official statement of re-entry into the world – a re-entry that has already seen them blow away half of the northern continents as a part of their Second Coming tour. Critics across the globe have been wearing their pun-muscles weary lauding the band’s reformation as ‘Epic’ and dubbing the Second Coming tour as the ‘Reunion of the Year'. How does the music press sleep at night? All jokes and nostalgia aside, Mike Patton’s pasty genre-defining metal crew have just announced two New Zealand shows! You’ve heard the rumours and put it all down to Patton’s penchant for mischief and bullshit, but it’s all confirmed now. Faith No More is bringing the second coming downunder. The rumours are true.
