![]() Pop-punkers let your hearts rejoice! Scene legends NEW FOUND GLORY are finally hitting our shores for one show only at Auckland's Transmission Room on April 13th. Count your blessings, this talent doesn't come around often... So much so, that actually, this marks the first show New Found Glory have played in New Zealand in their 13 year history. Expect energy, expect fun and expect the perfection of pop-punk that is NFG. Unlike many bands whose longevity supersedes the popularity of their chosen genre, NFG have stuck to their guns, kept their integrity - and produced consistently great music. The extent of the mark which they have left on the scene is best shown by the fact that they have just celebrated the 10th anniversary of their iconic self titled album, celebrating with a mostly sold out state-side tour as well as the re-release of said album. ![]() Their 2009 release 'Not Without A Fight', produced by fellow pop punk hero Mark Hoppus (blink-182, +44), maintained that same energy found in their early releases, proving that growing up doesn't mean you have to grow old. Their live performance only emphasises this ethic, with explosive energy creating an environment best experienced up the front, singing along to every word. Tickets are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.co.nz for $67.50. Support acts to be announced, but that shouldn’t be a deciding factor anyways. This is one show you DO NOT want to miss, at least not without putting up a damn good fight. ![]() |
