 The musical gods are continuing their pouring of awesome musical blessings on New Zealand, with the latest announcement that 30 SECONDS TO MARS are coming! Jared Leto and crew are bringing their energetic stage show and anthemic tracks to Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre for one show only, which is sure to sell out faster than Jared Leto's eyeliner needs re-application. 30STM have come under a lot of criticism throughout their career, stemming from the fact that frontman/vocalist Jared Leto is an actor. However, unlike many actors who become mediocre musicians at best (i'm looking at you, Scarlett), Jared Leto is much more than the insanely attractive, media-friendly frontman for the band. The man can sing, really. His on-stage showmanship and never-ending energy and charisma, has earned him a well-deserved reputation as a truly talented musician who, alongside the rest of the band, is able to command a crowd with ease. Following their impressive yet somewhat underrated debut, the band’s sophomore album 'A Beautiful Lie' is what fully launched the band to international fame, notably with its chart topping title track and second hit single ‘The Kill’. Releasing their third album 'This Is War' earlier this year, the album is the ultimate gift to the bands unwavering fanbase, also known as The Echelon. As well as running a competition for 2000 fans to get their face on the album cover, the album also features thousands of fans on back-up vocals, which can be heard on the first single 'Kings and Queens'. 30 Seconds To Mars are not a band who shy away from the extreme. Intricate and stunning music videos match their cleverly thought-out music, all of which will create an epic show not to be missed.
