 You know those moments in life, where you sit back and think... I really don’t know if things can get much better? Well, it can and it just did, times two. Coup De Main is pleased to announce SAOSIN and BLESSTHEFALL playing one show in NZ only, together on June 9th in Auckland. It’s going to be hot, it’s going to be messy, but most importantly, it’s going to be awesome. Saosin last played New Zealand in 2006 at the international Taste Of Chaos music festival, and since then have gone on to release their second album ‘In Search Of Solid Ground’, spent a Summer sweating it out on Warped Tour, and most recently ditched their record label to become self-sufficient DIY artists. ‘In Search Of Solid Ground’ tells the story of a band coming into their own and finding their feet, moving beyond the Anthony Green VS. Cove Reber debate which has plagued them since Green left, early on in their career. The album showcases the bands talents, resulting in a powerful release full of energy and honesty - which we ranked #33 in our Best Albums of 2009 list - HERE. Blessthefall have also faced a controversial vocalist switch in their musical career, ditching Craig Mabbit (now of Escape The Fate) and replacing him with Beau Bokan in 2008. Since then, the band have toured relentlessly, proving themselves on and off stage with the 2009 release of ‘Witness’ and signing to Fearless Records. With an ever-increasing and dedicated fan-base, Blessthefall will undoubtedly melt your face off with their liveliness and ability to get people up and moving. Hardcore enthusiasts, get your moves ready - this will be your time to shine. Saosin and Blessthefall will be performing at the Ellen Melville Hall on Wednesday June 9th.
