The Temper Trap

Australian darlings THE TEMPER TRAP were the rising stars of 2009, when their first single ‘Sweet Disposition’ off of their debut full length ‘Conditions’, was picked up and included in a variety of films and television shows, catapulting the young Aussies from unknown down-under wonders to the next big thing... and for the second time this year, The Temper Trap will be performing in New Zealand, on August 1st at the Powerstation in Auckland.

Their early-afternoon performance at the Big Day Out earlier this year, demonstrated that the boys are much more than a one-hit wonder. Lead vocalist and guitarist Dougie Mandagi had the crowd dancing with his lively stage presence and infectious smile, all whilst his impressive vocal skills wafted through the speakers. In addition to Mandagi, the rest of the band were exceptionally talented and well rehearsed in their respective instruments, and together the indie darlings stunned those who had arrived early enough to catch them.

2010 has already been a massive year for the band, who have been impressing our Northern Hemisphere counterparts, finding themselves slotted onto the major music festivals circuit, which will only leave them all the more prepared for their NZ performance.

Tickets are already on sale - and are selling fast - so don’t delay! Tickets are $49.50 from www.ticketmaster.co.nz.
