Music fans, start planning! SOUNDWAVE REVOLUTION is getting bigger by the day, and with a full announcement due in a couple of weeks according to founder AJ Maddah, here at Coup De Main we’re wondering what more surprises could possibly be in store??

With over thirty bands having already revealed their involvement and plenty more on the way, here’s a snapshot of what we currently DO know about the Australian music festival:

DATES:
BRISBANE – Saturday, 24th of September 2011.
SYDNEY – Sunday, 25th of September 2011.
MELBOURNE – Friday, 30th of September 2011.
ADELAIDE – Saturday, 1st of October 2011.
PERTH – Monday, 3rd of October.

BANDS:
Young Guns, This Providence, The Swellers, Terrible Things, Four Year Strong, Story Of The Year, Make Do And Mend, We Are The Ocean, Madina Lake, Whitechapel, The Acacia Strain, Every Time I Die, Skindred, The Damned Things, HELLYEAH, In This Moment, The Word Alive, Hellogoodbye, Set Your Goals, The Dangerous Summer, Zebrahead, We Are The In Crowd, Devin Townsend, Black Veil Brides, Funeral For A Friend, D.R.U.G.S, Times Of Grace, Yellowcard, Steel Panther, Holy Grail, Unearth, Sum 41, Kvelertak.

- It's unlikely that there will be any sideshows.
- Soundwave Revolution is at this stage just a once-off festival.
- Thursday haven’t confirmed themselves but it sounds like they’re coming.
- Tickets will not be more expensive than Soundwave 2011.
- All venues are different from those of Soundwave aside from Brisbane.
- Initially rumoured band Forever The Sickest Kids are in fact not playing.
- One band out of A Day To Remember, Panic! At The Disco or The Used, will be on the line-up.
- One band out of Thrice, Mewithoutyou, or Hot Water Music, will be on the line-up.
