Since February, Australian and Kiwi music fans have been teased with a slow leak of information on a new festival to hit Australia in 2011 - SOUNDWAVE REVOLUTION. But alas, the wait is over! The full line-up has finally been revealed, with Van Halen and Alice Cooper - some of the biggest selling rock bands in the world - being named as the headliners. The bands revealed in the final announcement are: VAN HALEN, ALICE COOPER, MACHINE HEAD, BAD RELIGION, HOLE, DANZIG, ALTER BRIDGE, SISTERS OF MERCY, VERSAEMERGE, KEVIN DEVINE and THE PRETTY RECKLESS. And of course, add these to the already stellar line-up of artists listed below and Soundwave Revolution is bound to be the best thing to happen in September and October of this year. However, just minutes before this final announcement, festival founder AJ Maddah announced via Twitter that Orange County band Thrice are no longer taking part in the festival. A replacement band will be announced in the next week or so. Tickets to the general public will go on sale from 9AM AEST on Thursday, June 2nd.
