 Yesterday, SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL founder AJ Maddah leaked via his Twitter that for the first time ever, an official Soundwave event would finally be coming to New Zealand - a.k.a. a SIDEWAVE "mini-fest" to take place on February 22nd and 23rd, 2012. Maddah said: "Many big guns from #SW12. Expect announcement next week." "BIG TIME! Feb 22 & Feb 23 Auckland Trust Stadium. Working on details now. Will be huge! #SW12" These are the other 'facts' that Maddah has tweeted so far: - There will be five or six bands playing each night. - Different bands will be playing each night. - Marilyn Manson is not coming to New Zealand. - Therefore, it's to be assumed that System Of A Down will be coming to New Zealand. |
