 LADY GAGA has announced an Auckland date for her 'The Born This Way Ball' 2012 tour - June 7th at Vector Arena - alongside Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth shows. Of her new tour, Lady Gaga says: "The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage. THE BORN THIS WAY BALL is an Electro-Metal Pop-Opera; the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating." Tickets for 'The Born This Way Ball' will go on sale from Friday, February 17th, at 9am via livenation.com.au - New Zealand tickets are via ticketmaster.co.nz (09) 970 9700 and tickets to all Australian shows are available through ticketek.com.au 132 849. Advance tickets will be available to Visa Credit, Debit and Prepaid cardholders from 9.00am (local time), on Monday February 13th, 2012, until 5.00pm (local time), Wednesday February 15th, 2012, or until pre-sale tickets sell out at www.visaentertainment.co.nz Gaga has tweeted an artist's rendering [see below] of the new stage-design for 'The Born This Way Ball', saying that: "The central area within the stage will be known as 'The Monster Pit'. The Monster Pit is General Admission only, and Little Monsters unlock it when they arrive to the arena or stadium. Entry to "The Monster Pit" is relegated to the fans who have arrived first, waited all night, + dressed to "Ball." Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from The Monster Pit to come back stage + meet me! These tickets are NOT more expensive. No dress code requirement. "Born This Way" means anything goes."
