![]() You’ve heard of the Axis of Evil. You’ve marvelled at the Big Three. Now, prepare yourself for one half of the Big Four. They’re called the Big Four of Thrash. Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth. Four of the genre’s most brutal and enduring acts. And this October, one half of the Fiercesome Foursome will be bringing their metal attack down under. Fresh from joining forces for the CANADIAN CARNAGE tour, California speed-metallers SLAYER and thrash pioneers MEGADETH will be bringing the pain like a heavy-metal hurricane to little old New Zealand. Fronted by the one-time Metallica guitarist Dave Mustaine; MEGADETH have long been the behemoth kings of the 1980’s take on hard-rock resistance, earning 7 consecutive Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance for their immortal guitar-solo trade-off’s and Mustaine’s trademark snarling at the moon vocals. Cali-counterparts SLAYER; are blow-for-blow dangerous, with their trademark cue-the-radio-ban lyrics and antics that would put your auntie in a home before the second chorus. Brace yourselves, New Zealand, the Kings of Thrash are coming... and this time, they wont play nice. Tickets will go on sale from Monday 10th August.
