Intrepid explorer CLAIRE ORING and her friends NICOLE BUCKLEY and JAC VANEK traveled to New Zealand earlier this year, to seek out every and any possible adventure. While here, they captured many amazing photos, and have very kindly shared a beautiful selection of their favourites with Coup De Main. It's wildly refreshing to see our little country through the eyes of those that are seeing everything that we take for granted, for the very first time...

"I noticed that the light was falling through the bedroom curtains of our cottage on Waiheke Island in the loveliest way, so I dialed up the ISO in my camera and a full on group photo-shoot ensued." - Claire.
"The girls obliged my photoshoot-lust by joining me in a very windy and bumpy drive out to a field of boulders on Waiheke Island. I just couldn’t resist the combination of big rocks, grass, and cows. The colors were so vibrant." - Claire
"We stopped on the way to Milford Sound at Mirror Lakes! I wanted to jump in the lake so it would look like I was flying in the sky, but the bus driver forbade us." - Claire
"Visiting Milford Sound has been on my bucket list for years! My heart ached just looking at pictures of it, so experiencing all its beauty in person was the highlight of my trip. We took a boat cruise out around the fjords. They were filled with the most amazing natural waterfalls! I want to build a house on top of a fjord and cut myself off from reality and bask in its wonders for eternity." - Claire
"Visiting Midnight Youth friends on their winery tour in Tauranga! We spent the day sipping New Zealand ales, dancing, and then followed it up with a night out on the town." - Claire
