In response to J.K. Rowling's transphobic tweets posted this past weekend, actor Daniel Radcliffe has written an open letter to fans of the Harry Potter franchise contradicting Rowling's words, saying he felt compelled to speak out and tell fans, "Transgender women are women."
In an essay shared today, Dominic Fike has detailed his family's battles with law enforcement; calling out systemic racism and police brutality, and speaking out in support of defunding police departments.
Fike wrote: "My life has felt cursed since I was a little kid. I've watched police, the supposed good guys, beat my mom and take her away. I've had my brothers taken away. Aunts. Uncles. Shit, my dad just got 20. It's like they had a problem with my family. I've since realized the real curse is the system we live in is designed for us to lose, again and again."

Manchester-based producer Medici has released a new mixtape, 'Scatterbrain_v1', which he says is "inspired by a lot of 2000s UK radio mixes, garage music, clubs, boys&girls, memories&real places," and features each of the members of CDM 2020 Must-Know BLACKSTARKIDS individually across a number of songs.

Maude Latour has shared a music video for her new single, 'Furniture', which was filmed on the last day of college before Covid-19 led to it closing.
The video, which takes place in her dorm room, was filmed with all her friends and directed by her longtime collaborator Fergus Campbell.
