5 reasons to see Little Mix live in NZ next July.

5 reasons to see Little Mix live in NZ next July.

In the countdown to see Little Mix live in New Zealand (for the very first time!) next July, we’ve decided to compile a list of reasons why we’re so excited for their upcoming tour.

Their show at Auckland’s Vector Arena on July 30th will mark their first ever appearance in our country, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it - the announcement was a like an early Christmas present for us.

First, here’s the official info on the show:

"Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall formed as Little Mix in 2011. Since then they have without doubt become one of the biggest pop acts on the planet, racking up 12 million global sales and three UK #1 smash hits. UK #1 album Glory Days is the quickest selling album in the UK charts by a girl group since Destiny’s Child’s Survivor in 2001.
Their third album Get Weird, released last year, is their most successful to date selling an amazing 1.5 million copies worldwide. The accompanying tour saw them play an incredible 60 shows across the UK and Europe, Asia and Australia, selling in excess of 500,000 tickets.

The group recently won 'Best Music Act' at the 2016 Glamour Women of the Year Awards and has amassed a staggering one billion YouTube and Vevo views worldwide.”

And now here are five reasons why you should make Little Mix tickets the #1 thing on your Christmas wish-list this year:

#1. First things first, these girls can sing - and they can sing live. Their vocals are effortlessly flawless, as evidenced by any live video that you’ll find online.

Watch their performance of their latest single ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball below…

#2. The girls have amazing stage outfits - they’re co-ordinated as you’d expect from the modern version of the Spice Girls. Check out some of our fave looks below:

#3. Their songs are super empowering, and their show is gonna be the best show to go to with your girlfriends - to sing along to ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ and ‘Hair’ is gonna be a total party.

#4. At their recent shows in the U.K., they performed an incredible medley of girl-power anthems - including ‘How Ya Doin’?’, ‘Pon de Floor’, ‘Run The World (Girls)’, and ‘Crazy In Love’.

Watch them perform the medley at V Festival below…

#5. As well as their songs suitable for dancing in your room and singing into your hairbrush too, they have some slower jams - so their show will likely be a mixture of the two.

Watch an acoustic version of their song ‘Love Me Like You’ that they performed on-air for Ryan Seacrest below…
