Laneway Festival 2013 Part III - Alt-J.

Immediately following Of Monsters And Men on the Mysterex Stage, were Mercury Award winning band, Alt-J.

Featuring the first stage backdrop of the day, the quartet hailing from Leeds showcased just why they’ve been causing such a fuss in the music industry as of late.

Performing songs such as ‘Interlude I (Ripe & Ruin)’ and ‘Breezeblocks’, the sometimes sketchy festival sound mixes didn’t seem to impact the clarity of their set - and judging from their huge audience and equally as huge applause, I don’t think anyone left dissatisfied.
