An online accompaniment to CDM Zine #26 - Heartbreak Zine.

The theme of this month's DIY zine is 'heartbreak' - and we have contributions this month from guest curators: Adam Melchor, The Beaches, Cate, Eyedress, Gatlin, Georgia, and Slayyyter.

+ Pedro Almodóvar talking about his Ethan Hawke x Pedro Pascal film, 'A Strange Way Of Life'.
+ Martin Scorsese, Leonardo Dicaprio, Lily Gladstone, and Jesse Plemons on their upcoming Apple TV+ film, 'Killers Of The Flower Moon'.

Exclusively for this print zine, each guest curator has put together some pages relating to what heartbreak means to them...

+ thank you to Wyatt Knowles for designing the cover of this month's zine!

Here's a li'l rundown of our curators this month:

New Jersey born / Los Angeles based artist, Adam Melchor, will be releasing a new EP titled 'Fruitland' on Friday the 13th - listen to the track 'Why You?' below:

4-piece from Toronto, made up of sisters Jordan and Kylie Miller and friends Eliza Enman-McDaniel and Leandra Earl, have recently released a video for their track 'What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Paranoid' - watch it below...

Inspired by the likes of Dolly Parton and childhood hero Hannah Montana, Cate combines sugary pop-hues against playful yet vulnerable lyricism (P.S. She is also the famous Cate from Maisie Peter's track 'Cate's Brother').
Watch her video for 'U Want Me' below...

Born in Manila and now residing in Los Angeles, Filipino artist Eyedress has continued to make a name for himself over the past decade, blending a wide array of genres from lo-fi hip-hop to post-punk to ‘80s-influenced goth. He will be performing at Auckland's Laneway Festival in February 2024 - make sure to catch him there.

Growing up on Stevie Nicks and Taylor Swift, Gatlin has been cultivating her musical acumen since she was young. After heading to Nashville to study songwriting, she released her first solo music in 2020.
Watch her video for 'How Do You Sleep At Night?' below...

UK artist/producer released her new album 'Euphoria' earlier this year. Recorded in LA with producer/musician Rostam (Charli XCX, HAIM, Frank Ocean), this is the first time Georgia has worked with a producer on her own material.

Self-made pop artist Slayyyter announces her second studio album 'STARFUCKER'. 'Miss Belladonna,' the second offering from 'STARFUCKER', is an empowering, synth-driven track that introduces fans to Slayyyter’s album persona. Listen to the track below...
