Jack Antonoff teases new Bleachers album?

Jack Antonoff has written to Bleachers fans today with an official update about what is next (crossing fingers for a new album!) for the band:

days that feel like the space between one town and the next. what will emerge for all of us is a mystery. what has emerged for bleachers is coming.

a time of total transition and uncertainty. the only absolute is that it can’t be like this. you won’t meet someone who will tell you that we have arrived and this is it.

it’s caused me to drop anything i cannot carry. the good times allow us to keep some ghosts. the dark times bring you face to face with only what you need.

- as making records begin to feel like an ancient ritual, we are ready to die on that hill.

- as the aesthetic of band comes into fashion, we are emboldened to double down on what only bleachers does.

- as live music becomes more popular, we will return to the stage very clear of what is worthy of our people.
