A Maisie Peters x 'You Signed Up For This' appreciation post.

Maisie Peters' debut album 'You Signed Up For This' has just dropped today, and we couldn't be more excited. After releasing hits such as 'John Hughes Movie' and 'Psycho' earlier this year, we constantly looked forward to what she would do next. On the album, Peters says, "I’m so excited to announce ‘You Signed Up For This’, it really is my (albeit not hugely long) life’s work and my proudest achievement; it is my favourite album maybe ever and whilst I may be biased, I really hope it goes into the world and becomes lots of other people’s favourite too."

So in honour of release day, we've decided to celebrate...

1. Her touching most recent music video, ‘Brooklyn’, which is an ode to her twin sister Ellen!

2. The support that longtime swiftie Maisie and Taylor Swift show each other never fails to give us all the feels.

3. Maisie is doing shows at record stores all across the UK in the lead-up to the album release with the mini-tour titled ‘You Signed Up For These Record Stores Shows’ - yes pun absolutely intended.

4. As Maisie is signed to Ed Sheeran’s record label Gingerbread Man records, of course Ed has shown his major support for the album. He also co-wrote on her hit song, ‘Psycho’. Sheeran says: “Excited to announce that I’ve signed the wonderful Maisie Peters to Gingerbread Man Records. She’s a very special artist who continues to push her storytelling in new directions. We had a few great writing sessions together and from there I knew I had to work with her. Can’t wait for you to hear her debut album x”

5. With shows starting back up again, Maisie’s hit single ‘Psycho’ is magnetic live, and is an absolute must-see!
