Taylor Swift surprised fans tonight by announcing a brand new album, 'Midnights', during her acceptance speech for video of the year at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards - her first album of freshly written material since 2020's 'Evermore'.

Following the big reveal, Swift shared further details via her social media platforms:
