Rachel Sennott, the breakout star of the 2020 film 'Shiva Baby' has just joined the cast of HBO's 'The Idol'. The show is created by Sam Levinson and The Weeknd - with those attached to star including the likes of The Weeknd himself, Lily-Rose Depp, Debby Ryan, and Troye Sivan.
Earlier this year it was announced that the show would be undergoing major changes with a spokesperson from HBO telling Deadline: “The Idol’s creative team continues to build, refine, and evolve their vision for the show and they have aligned on a new creative direction. The production will be adjusting its cast and crew accordingly to best serve this new approach to the series.”
