Thomston has returned with new track, 'Upstate' - which marks the first new piece of music this year from the artist. The track was written by Thomston alongside his partner and recorded at his home in Los Angeles.
During the iconic 90s band's downtime they assembled a jukebox musical ‘Slanted! Enchanted!’ based on their own songs and also embarked on a reunion tour in 2022 after a 12 year hiatus. This journey was captured by filmmaker Alex Ross Perry for his forthcoming film 'Pavements' - premiering at Venice Film Festival.
Molly Payton has shared her new track, 'Get Back To You' - ahead of the release of her debut full-length album, 'YOYOTTA'. The song was produced by Payton alongside her long-time collaborator Oscar Lang.

Omar Apollo is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming film, 'Queer' - directed by Luca Guadagnino. Apollo will star alongside Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey in the adaptation of William S. Burroughs' short novel - Apollo's role in the film is still unknown.
"Set in 1940s Mexico City, the film follows an outcast American expat (Craig) who becomes infatuated with a younger man (Starkey)."
Katie Gavin (who you may know from the band MUNA) has shared a first taste of solo music with the infectious single, 'Aftertaste' - released via Phoebe Bridgers' label, Saddest Factory Records. Alongside the track, she has also announced her debut solo album 'What A Relief' - including track 'As Good As It Gets' featuring Mitski.
Rex Orange County has announced his new album 'The Alexander Technique' (out September 6), which was produced entirely by Rex himself alongside Teo Halm and Jim Reed.
It's also been revealed that James Blake produced and features on track fourteen, 'Look Me In The Eyes'.
Rex has also shared two new songs, 'Alexander' and 'Guitar Song', which both arrive with accompanying music videos.

Charli XCX has revealed that she will be heading to Poland in August to work on a film. She has not revealed who she is working with, but plans to both shoot and write the film simultaneously.
Billboard have shared: "She also says she’s planning to go to Poland for three weeks in August “to write a film there with…” Then she hesitates, catching herself before she gives too much away. “Well, I don’t really know if I should say because I also don’t know if we’re going to do it. We might actually just go to Poland and not do that, but that is the idea.”
