Interview: Omar Apollo on his 'Friends' EP, playing Laneway Festival + more.

The 1975's Matty Healy has confirmed that the band will be premiering a brand new song, 'Me & You Together Song' - from their upcoming album 'Notes On A Conditional Form' - next week on January 16th.

Rex Orange County just appeared on The Ellen Show to perform his song 'Face To Face', lifted from his recently released sophomore album 'Pony', which featured light-up LED balloons around him on stage.

He also performed his much-beloved song, 'Loving Is Easy'.

HALSEY

Returning to New Zealand for the first time since her Spark Arena debut in 2018, Halsey opened her festival slot at Bay Dreams with the raucous and punk-inspired 'Nightmare', immediately showcasing the energy she had to share with the crowd.

That energy was not immediately reciprocated however, with Halsey re-starting her second song 'Castle' partway through after mocking the crowd's lack of energy:

Last night in Oslo, Clairo, with friends Laundry Day and Dreamer Boy played their final Immunity Tour show of 2019 together, with Clairo joining Laundry Day on-stage for 'Red Roses' - which you can watch a short clip of below:

Following news of their much talked about reunion, My Chemical Romance tonight took to the stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles to play their first show together in seven years (since their closing set at Bamboozle in May 2012), bookending their set with 'I'm Not Okay (I Promise)' and 'Welcome To The Black Parade'.

Lana Del Rey has today shared a three-song video for 'Norman Fucking Rockwell', 'Bartender' and 'Happiness Is A Butterfly', which was directed by Del Rey’s sister, Chuck Grant.

Earlier this week, Del Rey also shared that as she prepares for the release of her poetry book, she’ll also drop a spoken word album on January 4th, with half of the proceeds going to benefit Native American organisations.
