Alvvays are officially coming down to New Zealand and we couldn't be more excited! The band will be performing at Auckland's Powerstation on Saturday, December 16th.

Ticket pre-sale starts Thursday August 24 at 10am AEST / 12pm NZT.
General onsale from Friday August 25 at 10am local.

To tide us over until December, we've rounded up five reasons why we think you should see them live...

#1. Alvvays will be performing tracks from their latest album, 'Blue Rev'.

Erny Belle (a.k.a. Aimee Renata) has released a new track 'Unchained', paired with a new video. The video is directed by Erny herself with Matt Hunter. 

'Blue Rev' was one of last year's best albums (and we officially declared it so in our Best Albums Of 2022 list here), so we're overjoyed today to announce that Alvvays will be finally making their New Zealand debut on December 16th at the Powerstation in Auckland.

Haim have once again partnered with Louis Vuitton as part of their Women's Fall-Winter 2023 collection.

Prime Video have officially revealed the very first snippet of Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor's Version)' in the trailer for their upcoming show, 'Wilderness'.

The series stars Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

We've officially got a first-look from Vanity Fair at Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal in their upcoming romance film, 'All Of Us Strangers'. The film is directed by Andrew Haigh and is set to be released on December 22nd.

The story is based on the 1987 novel 'Strangers' by Taichi Yamada. 

A behind-the-scenes clip has been released of Ryan Gosling rehearsing for his big performance of 'I'm Just Ken' in the 'Barbie' film, and we think it's an absolute must-watch.

Bleachers have announced a live album, ‘Live At Radio City Music Hall’ - due to be released this Friday, August 25th via Dirty Hit.

Recorded last year in July during their sold-out headline show at Radio City Music Hall in New York, the 21-track live album includes a guest appearance from Bruce Springsteen on 'Chinatown' (who also sings on the studio version of the track).

Following his sold-out North American stadium tour, The Weeknd has announced that he will be performing at Auckland's Eden Park Stadium on Saturday, December 9th 2023. He will be joined by special guests Mike Dean and Chxrry 22.
