200 balloons of every colour imaginable fall on a sea of bodies, most of whom are excitable teens who’ve been screaming their lungs out for the last hour. Simultaneously, confetti canons blow golden sparkles into the air, and beams of light hit what is surely one of the largest mirror-balls in London. Rex Orange County is in the closing moments of his performance at KOKO, which at a capacity of 1,400, is his largest headlining show to date.

In the lead-up to the release of Florence Welch's first ever book 'Useless Magic' (out on July 5th), a few excerpts have been shared from the title which feature handwritten notes and doodles.

Following up new song 'Fake Nice', The Aces have released a music video for 'Volcanic Love' - lifted from the band's upcoming debut album 'When My Heart Felt Volcanic' out April 6th - which was inspired by the films, 'Heathers', '(500) Days Of Summer', 'Across The Universe', 'The Great Gatsby', and 'Comet'.

Following up her debut solo single, 'Real Fake Love', Nïka has now shared a second song, 'Future Lover', which she wrote herself, and was produced by longtime collaborator Alex Wildwood.

About her new song, Nïka says: "Future Lover is about the different sides you feel when falling for someone. The quiet, smitten side of you waiting in the wings and the then the loud, confidant side, where you yell it from the rooftops."

Broods' Caleb Nott is experimenting musically on his own with new project, Fizzy Milk, which draws influence from the likes of Moby, The Chemical Brothers, N.E.R.D, and Gorillaz.

About his new project, he says: "These songs are just little slivers of myself, the stuff I do every day in the studio that no one normally hears. It’s the same with the artwork. I’m just doing the stuff I’ve always thought about, but haven’t had an outlet for. I’m just going to drop songs when I feel like it, and maybe work towards a record in the future."
