A Thomston x 'Topograph' appreciation post.

To celebrate the release of our dear friend Thomston’s (i.e. Thomas Stoneman) debut album, ‘Topograph’, we’ve compiled a list of things that we appreciate about him, and his album too.

But first, here’s the official album info:

TOPOGRAPH was written in five cities on three continents over almost two years. Every song on the record is a map tied to a physical place, hence the title. As Thomston explains, “I wrote it. I wrote it in the years I travelled the world and learnt vast amounts about people, places and myself.

Must-listen: new The Japanese House song, 'Face Like Thunder'.

The Japanese House has dropped a new song called ‘Face Like Thunder’, lifted from her upcoming third EP, ’Swim Against The Tide’ - set for release on  November 11th.

The song premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show just a few hours ago, and it’s a little more upbeat than her previous offerings, but maintains her distinctive layered vocals and vocal samples throughout.

The song was produced with The 1975’s Matty Healy and George Daniel, the latter of whom tweeted his support of the song:
