Florence + The Machine release final tickets for Australian shows + announce Mansionair as support act.

Following the incredible demand for Florence + The Machine’s intimate theatre shows in both Sydney and Melbourne [for which 40,000 people entered the ballot to be able to buy tickets!], it has just been announced that some last-minute tickets will be released this Friday.

Check out the official info below:

The announcement of Florence + The Machine’s Splendour sideshows was met with tremendous enthusiasm from Australian fans; especially given the intimate nature of these shows in Melbourne and Sydney theatres.

As such, following the announcement of the shows, a ballot system was revealed for Florence + The Machine devotees to register to buy tickets.  In an unprecedented response from her fans, over 40,000 people registered in the ballot, which regrettably meant many missed out on the chance to see this unique performance.

Laneway Presents are thrilled to confirm today that a limited number of production hold tickets have now been released and will be available for sale to the general public from tomorrow (Friday 17 July) at 10am.

Tickets are extremely limited, so it will be a matter of first in, best dressed.

The tour dates are as follows:

Wednesday 22nd July - Palais Theatre, Melbourne
Thursday 23rd July - State Theatre, Sydney

Sydney based band Mansionair have also just been announced as opening for both of these intimate theatre shows.

"The fast-rising three-piece landed firmly on their feet in 2014 sparking widespread praise for their debut single Hold Me Down.  Quickly garnering a staggering 10 million- plus combined online streams, the mesmerising and genre-defying track saw the band release their Hold Me Down EP late last year on CHVRCHES’ label, Goodbye Records.  With its ambitious songwriting, intricate production and the spellbinding vocals of frontman Jack Froggatt, the 12” vinyl release caught the attention of tastemakers such as NME, the Guardian and Stereogum, with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe proclaiming “I love [it]!... It’s a beautiful record.”

The remaining tickets for both shows will go on sale this Friday July 17th from 10am Australian time via Ticketmaster.
