Durga Chew-Bose announced for 2018 Auckland Writers Festival.

In exciting news, Ella Yelich-O'Connor aka Lorde, is coming home this May to make her very first appearance at the Auckland Writers Festival, where she will lead a talk with Durga Chew-Bose about her debut collection of self-referential essays, 'Too Much and Not The Mood'.

I Don't Know How But They Found Me - 'Nobody Likes The Opening Band' music video.

A brand new I Don't Know How But They Found Me VHS tape has been unearthed, this one featuring Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman performing a previously unheard new song, 'Nobody Likes The Opening Band' live at a community talent show in the... early 80s.

Supplied info: "IDKhow community talent show performance, circa mid-1983. This particular tape, marked only as 'Bowling League Tournament' was recovered from the North Davis County Library basement archives in the late nineties. Its origin is uncertain."

Coup De Main presents: Eden's first ever New Zealand show.

Janelle Monáe releases two singles 'Make Me Feel' and 'Django Jane' + announces new album 'Dirty Computer'.

Janelle Monáe has returned with two new singles released simultaneously in the form of ‘Make Me Feel’ and ‘Django Jane’, along with the announcement of her new album ‘Dirty Computer’, which is set for release on April 27th.

The two singles were both released with music videos - the electrifying ’Make Me Feel’ was directed by Alan Ferguson and is set in a colourful 1980s world, and the celebratory ‘Django Jane’ was directed by Andrew Donoho and Chuck Lightning with additional vagina monologue footage directed by Lacey Duke.
