Zendaya cast as Ronnie Spector in A24's upcoming biopic.

In news that truly warms my heart like nothing else today, it's been announced that Zendaya has been cast as Ronnie Spector in A24's upcoming film about her life, which will be produced by Marc Platt, with Zendaya also serving as a co-producer.

In the same way that Aretha Franklin championed Jennifer Hudson to play her in the upcoming biopic, 'Respect', The Ronettes frontwoman Spector personally chose Zendaya to portray her in her early years.

Halsey releases '929' music video + new songs 'i’m not mad' and 'wipe your tears'.

As part of her birthday festivities, Halsey has today shared a music video for '929' from her 'Manic' album - she was born at 9:29 AM on September 29th - which was directed by her tour videographer Peter Donaghy, as well as re-released 'Manic' with additional songs; 'i’m not mad' and 'wipe your tears'.

Wallows recently returned with a brand new song, 'Nobody Gets Me (Like You)', as well as the announcement of their new 'Remote' EP, which they made entirely during quarantine. About recording the new project, they share: "We didn't actually see each other once during its completion. All of the vocals are iPhone voice memos, and our friends Sachi DiSerafino and John DeBold helped us produce all of it remotely. All of the songs sound like Wallows, but are super different from each other and teetering on something new."
