King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard added to Laneway Festival 2017.

Ahead of the 2017 edition of Laneway Festival at the end of this month, them good folks have now announced a final addition to their line-up - Melbourne band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard!

About the news, festival co-promoter Mark Kneebone says: "King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard are one of the world's best live acts and we're delighted that we have managed to add them to the Laneway bill. We think Albert Park will be the perfect setting to introduce New Zealanders to their legendary live show."

Nashville band COIN have already toured with the likes of The 1975 and Walk The Moon, been remixed by Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump, and have an American tour lined up for next month. And with the four-piece - Chase Lawrence (synth/vocals), Joe Memmel (guitar/vocals), Ryan Winnen (drums), Zachary Dyke (bass) - currently gearing up to release their sophomore full-length album this year, they are sure to become breakout stars of 2017.

AFI - 'Snow Cats' music video.

Ahead of the release of their new album, 'The Blood Album' (out on January 20th) - their first new album since 2013 - AFI have dropped a music video for 'Snow Cats'.

About the video, frontman Davey Havok says: "Expanding endlessly from an empty room, the ‘Snow Cats’ video animates a cyclical struggle with the surreal colors of applied persona and identity."

Ed Sheeran releases two new songs, 'Shape Of You' and 'Castle On The Hill'.

Ed Sheeran has returned with two new singles, 'Shape Of You' and 'Castle On The Hill' - his first new music since 2015 - both of which are likely lifted from Sheeran’s forthcoming album - assumed to be titled '÷'.

About his comeback, Sheeran says: "Hello 2017! I’ve been working hard on the new material and I hope you can be as excited about it as I am. I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I’m absolutely buzzing to be back."

2016 marked an exciting time for fans of Cut Off Your Hands - they were announced to play Laneway Festival for 2017, and at the same time announced their return to music in general, with ‘Hate Somebody’ being the first song we’ve heard from them in five years.
