In celebration of the release of ‘La La Land’ - out in New Zealand cinemas today! - we’ve compiled a list of things that we currently appreciate about the film’s leading lady, Emma Stone.

As a Christmas present for their fans, The 1975 have released a live concert-film of their December 16th show at The O2 in London, which is going to make you emotional whether or not you’ve seen the band live on their current album tour-cycle yet or not.

The occasion is so momentous that Hann is even wearing eyeshadow!

The 1975 and Vevo have teamed up together on a Christmas Day present, with a 'Live At The O2' concert-film - directed by Adam Powell - expected to drop tomorrow.

Tegan And Sara have released a music video for 'That Girl' which features behind-the-scenes tour footage, and is their tenth and final clip from 'Love You To Death'.

About the new video, T&S say:

"For the video for That Girl, our 10th and final video from LY2D, we brought director allister ann out with us on the road in Canada and the US to capture a behind the scenes look at our life on tour.

During their recent U.S. tour together, Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan performed a cover of Mark Ronson’s song 'Somebody To Love Me' (and some of the Macarena) during their shows.

Wes Anderson has announced that his next film is a stop-motion animation (à la 'Fantastic Mr. Fox') called 'Isle Of Dogs', which will be filmed in England, but is rumoured to be set in Japan.

The 'Isle Of Dogs' cast includes Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Bob Balaban, Frances McDormand, Edward Norton, Bryan Cranston, Scarlett Johannson, Kunichi Nomura, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Yoko Ono, Courtney B. Vance, Greta Gerwig, and Liev Schreiber.

After originally teasing that their long awaited second album would be released during the third quarter of this year, Haim are now "looking at a Summer release" next year, according to a new interview with Entertainment Weekly (i.e. a NZ Winter release).

The interview also confirms that new songs, 'Nothing’s Wrong' and 'Little Of Your Love', will both feature on the new album, and that the sisters worked with Ariel Rechtshaid and Rostam Batmanglij on the record.
