Interview: Gracie Abrams on her debut 'Minor' EP.

On December 13th, 2010, an eleven-year-old Gracie Abrams wrote an entry to her diary as follows: "I've been composing my own songs on the piano and it's really a lot of fun! My 2nd one I'm currently working on is kinda strange. I really like it though." Nearly ten years later, and Abrams' debut 'Minor' EP is out in the world - seven songs which see her life experiences of growing up turned into relatable and thoughtful songs.

Interview: SOKO on her new album 'Feel Feelings'.

"I'm sorry, I'm in the car with my baby! He really wants to be part of this," Soko explains to me mid-way through our conversation, as she tries to stifle her laughter while her baby yet again tries to involve himself in our discussion of her just-released album, 'Feel Feelings'.

The album, originally slated for an April release was pushed back due to the pandemic (and then again out of respect for the Black Lives Matter movement), sees Soko delve into self-reflection as she contemplates self-love and the acceptance of one's own emotions.

Listen: Jim-E Stack's new single 'Note To Self' feat. Empress Of.

Mostly know for his production and songwriting work with the likes of Haim, Charli XCX, and more, Jim-E Stack has shared a new song of his own 'Note To Self', which features vocals from Empress Of.

About the song, Jim-E says: “It’s like this voice in your head, like some Goddess from above, that's giving you self-encouragement. It's okay to feel down, but embrace it because ultimately that gives way to moving forward and progress… There is hope in the sense that we can change things in the world.”
