I think we can all agree the world is a better place now that My Chemical Romance has reunited - with a headline Los Angeles show this December, plus the newly announced Australian/New Zealand tour dates!

To celebrate the reunion, we thought we'd give you a brief recap on what each band member has been up to since they split (and now reunited!).

The band's guitarist Ray Toro has been working on his own music, (as well as being busy being a father!), sharing his first ever solo song, 'Isn't That Something', in mid 2013.

Ever since announcing their reunion last week, My Chemical Romance fans have been eagerly investigating their website for any clues - as although they've announced their return to live shows, nothing has been said so far about new music.

Thanks to some very smart people on Reddit though, the word 'Merlin' appears 115 times in the HTML of the My Chemical Romance website, which has led to speculation that this word may be a hint at a title. An album title?! Who knows.

Just weeks before the band announced their reunion, My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way appeared at Los Angeles Comic Con in a panel - where he discussed his career at length, his work in the comic book world, as well as his musical work.

Along with their announcement of a live show in Los Angeles, My Chemical Romance have also launched a brand new merch collection!

The merchandise includes pieces with 'RETURN', their new MCR logo, and a jacket with four different patches to represent each era of MCR.

One of the great things to come out of the My Chemical Romance reunion (aside from the reunion itself!), has been the onslaught of excellent memes that the internet has created in celebration of it.

After fans were thrilled to learn of their reunion last week on Halloween (aka Frank Iero's birthday), Coup De Main and Live Nation are equally as thrilled to announce that My Chemical Romance will return to our shores next March, for their only New Zealand date at The Outer Fields at Western Springs.

The show will follow their 2020 headline performances at Download Festival in Sydney and Melbourne.

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 1pm on Tuesday, November 12th.

Supporting the shows are Jimmy Eat World, as well as local acts Midnight Youth and Miss June.

Following up 'Frío', Omar Apollo has today shared a new song, 'Hit Me Up', which features an assist from pal Dominic Fike, and production from Kenny Beats who has worked with both of the pair previously.
