Having just been announced as Pale Waves’ opening act for their US tour, The Candescents appear at first glance to be an entirely new band. The Columbus, Ohio-based band are followed on Twitter by The 1975’s Matty Healy, Dirty Hit’s Jamie Oborne, and Wolf Alice’s Joel Dilla, with a Twitter bio that simply reads: “We're a rock n roll band, man.”
